Don is the Co-Owner, Vice President of Electronic Sound Inc. and the healthcare sales specialist.
Don has over 28 years of experience in the healthcare market and electronic sales. He is certified in Rauland Responder products, Keri card access systems, Panasonic security products, MyCHILD infant abduction systems, IED audio paging systems, Blonder Tongue matv/catv systems, Direct TV commercial satellite systems and AMP data & telecom cabling solutions
Prior to joining Electronic Sound Inc. in 1990, Don sold JVC industrial, broadcast video, & audio systems in the states of Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, Colorado and Iowa to the following markets: business & industry, television stations, healthcare facilities, and Governmental accounts. During this time Don was instrumental in converting what was then the Big 8 Football Conference from film to video. Not only sold and supplied the systems for the Big 8 but for the WAC Conference and then the Southwest Conference.
Finally, Don is married to his wife Kathy for over 22 years and has two children. His daughter Kari and his son Joe both live in Omaha with his daughter teaching at the Omaha Public School District and his son employed at Electronic Sound Inc.


(not pictured) John Rowan joined Electronic Sound Inc. in 1981 as a service technician and field installer. He served as service and installation manager for approximately 10 years before becoming co-owner and President in 2000.
Mike Pierson has been with Electronic Sound, Inc. since 1977. He currently specializes in Pro-Sound and AV presentation sales and engineering. During his time with the company, he has done almost everything there is to be done in a company of our size/style. He did field installation for at least 20 years, and for the last third of that, specialized in large scale Pro-Sound and AV systems. During that period he had the privilege of working with most of the nationally recognized consulting firms and developed a keen appreciation for well thought out and designed sound and AV systems.
Following his installation days, he moved into the office and was responsible for our installation department. During that time he stayed active in the area of sound and video, performing final checkouts and tuning.
Mike is NICET certified in communication and audio systems and is NSCA certified. He has attended weeklong training seminars on both Peavey, MediaMatrix, and Biamp Audia/Nexia and is certified in both. He also holds certification in both the AMX and Xantech control systems
Finally, Mike is currently focusing on Pro-Sound and AV presentation engineering. This would include House of Worship, theater, gymnasium, stadium, college classroom and corporate training/boardroom. He is self-taught, but proficient in Autocad so he can offer you 1 line drawings and overlaid detail on project plans. He can also provide specifications, bill of materials and cost estimate when required.

Pete Richling joined Electronic Sound Inc. in 1990. Pete started as a field installer in the education and video departments. He worked in the field for 12 years, and then in 2002 Pete took over as project manager of education. As project manager of education, Pete oversaw all educational projects and field installers. In 2004 Pete made another move and joined the education sales department. In the sales department Pete works with engineers and educational staff on projects that deal with school intercom systems, clock systems, media retrieval systems, and pro sound systems.

Joe Rider is involved in the healthcare side of Electronic Sound Inc. He works in the sales, training, and marketing side of the company. He is certified in Rauland Responder healthcare products and TSR trained by Rauland.
Joe has worked for Electronic Sound Inc. for over 5 years and before moving into the office, he was an installer working in the Education and Healthcare side of the business.
Before coming to work for Electronic Sound, Joe attended Bellevue University where he played Collegiate Baseball for a year. After that he transferred to the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is pursuing a degree in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Marketing.
